From thousands of free review sessions, Nghe An education rises to the top of the country in high school graduation exam scores in 2025

This afternoon (July 15), the Ministry of Education and Training announced the 2025 high school graduation exam score distribution. Information from the Nghe An Department of Education and Training also said that, according to this year's exam score statistics, Nghe An also rose to the top of the country in terms of graduation exam results.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the national average score is 6.17. Considering the 34 new provinces and cities, Nghe An is at the top with an average score of 6.589, followed by Ha Tinh with 6.525. These are two provinces that did not merge, with approximately 39,000 and 17,000 candidates taking the graduation exam, respectively.

The next positions in the top 10 are Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, all with an average score of 6.2 or higher.

Hanoi is in the top 5, with an average score of nearly 6.5, a sharp increase compared to positions 12-20 of previous years. Some other places still maintain their performance, despite the reorganization, such as Phu Tho (including Phu Tho, Hoa Binh and Vinh Phuc), Ninh Binh (Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh) and Hai Phong (Hai Phong, Hai Duong).

This is the first time Nghe An has risen to rank first in the country in terms of high school graduation exam scores.

According to the score distribution statistics, Nghe An ranks 1st in the country in average score of Literature.

In addition, Nghe An is also in the top 10 with many subjects having the highest average scores in the country, including: Chemistry, Physics, Information Technology, History, Geography, Agricultural Technology, and English.

Previously, in preparation for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Nghe An Education Department organized the launching ceremony of the emulation movement "90 days and nights determined to achieve high results inHigh school graduation exam 2025".

Overcoming difficulties as this is the first year the High School Graduation Exam is conducted according to the new General Education Program and teaching and learning is carried out in the context of Circular 29 regulating extra teaching and learning, the entire Education sector has made tireless efforts.

According to statistics across the province, from the second semester until the high school graduation exam, 91 high schools organized free tutoring for students (accounting for 100%) with 38,365 12th grade students participating in thousands of review sessions./.
