According to the indictment of the Procuracy: At about 7:00 p.m. on November 22, 2019, Lo Van Chuyen drove a motorbike from Hoa Binh town, Tuong Duong district to Noong De village, Nam Can commune, Ky Son district to buy on credit 03 packages of drugs, weighing 3.16347 kg at a price of 5,500 USD/kg from a man named Chua (unknown background and address).

After purchasing the drugs, Chuyen drove a motorbike with the drugs from Nam Can commune, Ky Son district to Hoa Binh town, Tuong Duong district to sell them to a man named Hien (unknown background and address) for 7,000 USD/kg.

At around 9:00 p.m. the same day, Chuyen made an appointment with a man named Hien to prepare to deliver drugs, when suddenly the working group of the Nam Can International Border Guard Station discovered and caught him red-handed and confiscated all the above evidence.

At the trial, Lo Van Chuyen admitted to his crime and showed remorse. Knowing that his actions were destructive and dangerous to society, he also admitted that he bought and sold drugs for profit and knew that with such a large amount of drugs it would be difficult to escape the death penalty, but he still took the risk for money and disregarded his life.

The panel of judges found that although Lo Van Chuyen confessed honestly, according to the law, the amount of drugs that the defendant bought and sold was too large, therefore, after a comprehensive review of the case, the defendant Lo Van Chuyen was sentenced to death./.
