Domestic and world gold prices both decreased after several sessions of price stability. World gold is still 7.13 million VND/tael lower than the SJC gold selling price at the same time.
On the morning of July 21, Saigon Jewelry Company listed the gold buying price at VND56.80 million/tael; the selling price was VND57.45 million/tael, down VND100,000/tael for both buying and selling compared to the close of the previous trading session. The difference in the selling price of gold is currently VND650,000/tael higher than the buying price.
At the same time, DOJI Group listed the buying and selling price of gold at 56.80-57.55 million VND/tael. Compared to the closing price of the trading session on July 20, the buying and selling price of gold remained the same. The difference between the buying and selling price of gold at DOJI is at 750,000 VND/tael.
In the world market, gold prices have dropped sharply. On the morning of July 21 (Vietnam time), the gold price listed on Kitco was 1,806 USD/oz, down 10 USD/oz compared to the close of the previous trading session.

Converting world gold price according to USD exchange rate at Vietcombank at reference time: 1 USD = 23,130 VND, world gold price is equivalent to 50.32 million VND/tael, 7.13 million VND/tael lower than SJC gold selling price at the same time.
At the close of trading on July 20, Saigon Jewelry Company listed the buying price of gold at VND56.90 million/tael; the selling price was VND57.55 million/tael, equal to the buying and selling prices compared to the opening of the trading session on the same day. The difference in the selling price of gold is currently VND650,000/tael higher than the buying price.
At the same time, DOJI Group listed the buying and selling price of gold at 56.80-57.55 million VND/tael. Compared to the early morning of July 20, the gold price at DOJI decreased by 50,000 VND/tael for buying and remained unchanged for selling. The difference between buying and selling prices of gold at DOJI is at 750,000 VND/tael.
Gold prices remained stable on the world market. Late afternoon on July 20 (Vietnam time), the gold price listed on Kitco was 1,816 USD/oz.
