Does self-reflection and self-correction reduce dignity?
(Baonghean.vn) - Self-reflection and self-correction are your own business, your own, and are a struggle with your own ego. Correct reflection will make you brighter, correct correction will make you more beautiful. It is the same in every group.
Some cadres and party members, including leaders and managers, do not fully understand the nature and importance of Party building and rectification work; do not uphold a sense of responsibility, and lack exemplary behavior.,fading ideals, declining will, falling into individualism, saying does not match doing, violating party discipline, violating the law. One of the measures to effectively implement the Central Resolution 4 (term XIII) on building and rectifying the Party and the political system is:Self-reflection, self-correction.
SELF-REFLECTION
The goal of Party and political system building is: “…Resolutely fight against individualism, prevent, repel, and strictly handle cadres and party members who have degraded political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifested “self-evolution” and “self-transformation”…”.

Thus, building the Party and the political system must start from people and from each person - this is considered the main task and solution.
In life as well as in work, no one can be perfect forever, no one can avoid limitations and shortcomings, but self-reflection to see oneself is not an easy thing. Everyone has their own ego, their own reasons, their own goals, their own circumstances and almost everyone likes to be praised, not to be criticized, especially when criticized in front of a group. And, many people still prefer to enjoy, always look for more benefits for themselves, are afraid of difficulties, afraid of suffering, lack of confidence... From there, it is easy to give birth to a lack of exemplary behavior, comparison, jealousy, decreased will, degradation and even "self-evolution", "self-transformation" without realizing it.
Therefore, in the year-end review, the end of the semester review or when reviewing and evaluating each job, many people only see the advantages but do not see their own shortcomings and limitations. After the review, nothing can be drawn out except achievements, advantages and "winged" compliments - for example, "Washing your face but not clean"!
To overcome that situation, the 4th Central Resolution this time has set out the requirement of self-reflection. First of all, each cadre, party member, especially the leader must self-reflection in every job, in every word and action, in his own thoughts to see his own limitations and shortcomings and correct them, especially those limitations and shortcomings in political ideology, ethics and lifestyle. Only by doing so can we solve the root cause, clarify the cause, "treat the right disease" and create new motivation.

SELF-REPAIR
Self-reflection is difficult, self-correction is not easy.
Seeing limitations and shortcomings, but honestly correcting them is not an easy struggle for yourself.
If limitations and shortcomings are related to personal interests, then self-correction also means losing those interests, fear of loss.
If the limitation or defect is related to your reputation or position, then self-correction will also reduce the prestige and importance.
If the limitations and shortcomings are related to stance, viewpoint, or the distinction between right and wrong, then self-correction feels like being at a disadvantage, which is unreasonable.
If the limitations and shortcomings are related to ethics and lifestyle, then self-correction makes one feel ashamed and afraid of being laughed at....
For all these reasons, self-correction without great determination, without full awareness, without starting from oneself can easily lead to "Discovering the disease but not prescribing medicine, without having a treatment plan". And then, "The disease gets worse and worse".

Self-reflection and self-correction are your own business, your own, and are a struggle with your own ego. Correct reflection will make you brighter, correct correction will make you more beautiful. It is the same in every group.
Self-reflection and self-correction are difficult but not impossible, and they must be done early. If, however, the “organization” is forced to reflec- tion and correct itself, then the “disease” will have become serious.
