House renovation for relatives of martyrs in Tan Ky

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 3, the Tan Ky District Youth Union coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Nghia Binh Commune Youth Union to repair the house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Chung's family (residing in Hamlet 5, Nghia Binh Commune), a relative who worships martyrs.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Chung is the daughter of martyr Nguyen Ngoc Cu - who died in the Southern battlefield. After her father passed away, her mother remarried, and she stayed behind to worship her father. The small level 4 house was severely degraded, and recently, a tree fell on the house due to storm number 2, breaking the rafters, the beams and the roof tiles.

Understanding her situation, the Fatherland Front and the Youth Union of Nghia Binh commune coordinated with the Inter-agency Youth Union to mobilize members of the two branches to donate money and organize the renovation of the house for her family with a budget of 15 million VND.

This is an activity to honor those who have contributed to the country and is a project to welcome the District Youth Union Congress for the 2017-2022 term./.
