Confidently entering the Final Round

(Baonghean.vn) - From October 23rd to 26th, the 2014 Saigon Beer Cup National Amateur Mini Football Tournament for Nghe An province took place at the Provincial Labor Culture House (71 Ho Tung Mau Street, Vinh City). A total of 64 teams from various agencies, departments, schools, companies, etc., competed for the championship title and a prize of 40 million VND.

The quality of the teams participating in this year's tournament has improved significantly.

Compared to the 2013 tournament, the professional quality of the 2014 Saigon Beer Cup football tournament in Nghe An has significantly improved. This is the general opinion of the tournament organizers as well as sports enthusiasts in Nghe An. During the recent matches, the teams displayed attractive yet effective gameplay. With additions to their squads and thorough preparation in terms of technique and tactics, the teams are determined to compete effectively in this tournament. Most of the strong teams come from Vinh City, operating like professional teams, with team owners and players who are considered "stars" in the amateur football scene. Some teams even have players who previously played professionally but are now past their prime.

Last year, both Thanh Co FC and Son Ha FC failed to impress in the National Finals, which featured many strong teams, especially those from the South. To improve on that performance, this year the teams participating in the Nghe An tournament have invested in improving their quality, aiming to first achieve success in the provincial round and then undergo a transformation in the national tournament. With the current level of expertise, many believe that Nghe An's amateur football can achieve something significant, or at least surpass last year's results, when participating in the upcoming National Finals in Binh Thuan.

Net Viet FC deservedly won the championship.

After four days of competition, Net Viet FC emerged victorious, winning the championship and a prize of 40 million VND. Idol FC finished second, receiving 20 million VND. AK FC and BMQ FC finished third and fourth respectively, receiving prizes of 10 and 5 million VND. The two top teams, Net Viet FC and Idol FC, will represent Nghe An in the National Finals, carrying the hope of achieving a new milestone for Nghe An's grassroots football. The National Finals will take place in December, with a record-breaking prize of 150 million VND for the champion.
