Suicide on Do Luong bridge

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 3:00 p.m. on April 21, at Do Luong bridge in Luu Son commune, Do Luong district, a young man suddenly climbed onto the bridge railing and jumped into Lam river to commit suicide.

The victim was identified as Nguyen Van Duc (born in 1991), residing in Block 5, Do Luong Town. According to the victim's family, Duc graduated from grade 12, graduated from the elementary electricity class.

Many people stood on Do Luong bridge watching and searching for the body.

Recently, Duc was often sad and depressed, so he sought death. When he jumped into the river, Duc also threw his bicycle into the Lam River. After the incident, the Luu Son Commune Police coordinated with functional forces and fishing boats on the river to spread nets to search, but the victim's body has not yet been found.
