"Dien Bien Phu Memories" film week in Quang Tri

Towards the 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, from the night of May 2 to 6, Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the provincial Film Distribution and Screening Center to organize a film week "Dien Bien Phu Memories" for young people.

Students of Bui Duc Tai High School, Hai Lang District, Quang Tri, watch the movie "Memories of Dien Bien Phu".

More than 2,000 union members, youth, students and armed forces members went directly to the screening locations to watch the movie.

The film week began on the night of May 2 at Bui Duc Tai High School, Hai Lang District, followed by schools in Vinh Linh, Gio Linh, Trieu Phong districts and Training Company C19 (Border Guard of Quang Tri Province).

During the film week “Dien Bien Phu Memories”, Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union coordinated with units and benefactors to present 30 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to veterans who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign and are living in Quang Tri province.

In addition to the film week, the Youth Union organized cultural exchange programs, traditional talks, and historical knowledge competitions about the Dien Bien Phu victory among union members and youth.
