"Memories of Dien Bien Phu" film week in Quang Tri

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, from the evening of May 2nd to 6th, the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Provincial Film Distribution and Screening Center, organized a film week titled "Memories of Dien Bien Phu" for young people.

Students at Bui Duc Tai High School in Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province, watch the film "Memories of Dien Bien Phu".

Over 2,000 youth union members, including students and members of the armed forces, directly attended the film screenings.

The film week began on the evening of May 2nd at Bui Duc Tai High School in Hai Lang district, followed by schools in Vinh Linh, Gio Linh, and Trieu Phong districts, and the C19 Training Company (Quang Tri Provincial Border Guard).

During the "Memories of Dien Bien Phu" film week, the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with various organizations and benefactors, presented 30 gift packages, each worth 500,000 VND, to veterans who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign and are currently residing in Quang Tri province.

In addition to the film week, the Youth Union branches organized cultural exchange programs, traditional talks, and competitions to test the historical knowledge of the Dien Bien Phu victory among their members and young people.
