Bilateral patrol on the Vietnam - Laos border
(Baonghean.vn) - In December 2018, units of Nghe An Border Guard coordinated with the border protection force of Laos to organize bilateral patrols with 5 rounds/100 participants.
Nghe An province has 468.281 km of border, 116 border markers and 44 markers, bordering the three provinces of Hua Phan, Xieng Khouang and Bolikhamxay, Laos.

Through bilateral patrols, violations of Vietnam-Laos border agreements and regulations have been promptly detected and handled, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the border area; and promoting the special friendship between the forces and people on both sides of the border.
The above activities further strengthen the special friendship, solidarity, cooperation and development between Vietnam and Laos.
