British startup FABRIKK has teamed up with product designer Kate Pearson to create a special handbag that glows inside, making it easier for users to find their belongings in the dark.Design BoomThe product named FABRIKK Vela is also highly appreciated for its environmental friendliness as it is made of biological materials.
FABRIKK’s bags are made primarily from cork, contain no animal skins, and are made with minimal biodegradable materials. The company says the products are waterproof, easy to clean, and lighter than traditional bags.
The inner lining consists of optical fibers that transmit the light emitted from the LED system. The small AAA battery-powered bulbs are connected to an automatic switch, allowing them to light up when the bag is opened and stop working to save battery when the bag is closed.
The FABRIKK Vela handbag is now available in a variety of colors, including black, green, and natural cork. Users can also choose the color of the LED lights inside according to their preferences.
