The Investigation Police Agency of Bien Hoa City Police, Dong Nai Province, said they are temporarily detaining Nguyen Dinh Thanh Tu (born in 1995, residing in Group 5, Hamlet 1, Long An Commune, Long Thanh District, Dong Nai) to investigate the crime of Extortion.

Previously, on February 25, at the "Anh va Em" coffee shop in Quarter 1, Tam Hoa Ward, Bien Hoa City, the ward police caught Tu red-handed extorting 20 million VND from Nguyen Quoc Th. (born in 1975, residing in Bien Hoa City).

At the investigation agency, Tu confessed that on January 26, 2017, Th. called Tu to a motel on Vo Thi Sau Street to have homosexual sex. Not long after, Tu lied that he had taken "hot" photos of Th and asked him to give him 50 million VND.

At about 11:30 a.m. on February 25, when Tu was receiving 20 million VND from Th, he was caught red-handed by the police.

The case is being investigated and handled by Bien Hoa City Police.
