Exciting Van Loc Temple Festival
(Baonghean.vn) -On January 14 and 15 (ie January 15 and 16 of the lunar calendar), the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town coordinated with Nghi Tan Ward to organize the Van Loc Temple Festival to commemorate Grand Tutor and Duke Nguyen Su Hoi (1444 - 1506).
Grand Duke Nguyen Su Hoi was appointed by King Le Thanh Tong to guard the twelve sea gates, managing 12 seaports from Sam Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Tung (Quang Tri). He was the one who opened up the Van Loc area, now Nghi Tan ward - Cua Lo town. This is a festival that is completely socialized, with many rich and attractive activities attracting many visitors from all over the world to participate.
