A vibrant festival at Van Loc Temple.
(Baonghean.vn) -On January 14th and 15th (corresponding to the 15th and 16th days of the first lunar month), the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town, in coordination with Nghi Tan Ward, organized the Van Loc Temple Festival to commemorate Grand Marshal Nguyen Su Hoi (1444 - 1506).
Grand Marshal and Duke Nguyen Su Hoi was appointed by King Le Thanh Tong to guard the twelve sea gates, governing 12 seaports from Sam Son (Thanh Hoa) to Cua Tung (Quang Tri). He was instrumental in developing the Van Loc area, which is now Nghi Tan ward, Cua Lo town. This festival is entirely socialized, with many rich and attractive activities that draw many visitors from far and wide.
