Lexus driver's license revoked for not yielding to fire truck in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Province Traffic Police Department has issued a fine of 2.5 million VND and revoked the driver's license for 2 months for not giving way to the fire truck at noon on October 4.
Based on the clip shared online, the police identified the driver of the Lexus with license plate 38A - 176.36 as Mr. Nguyen Bac V (born in 1960, residing in Pho Chau town, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province). The incident was assigned to the Nghe An Provincial Police Department for handling by the Nghe An Provincial Traffic Police Department.

On the morning of October 5, invited to work at the Nghe An Provincial Traffic Police Department, after reviewing the violation images, Mr. Nguyen Bac V admitted that he was completely wrong in not giving way to the fire truck, and signed the violation report.
Partly justifying his behavior, Mr. V said that he did not hear the sirens and loudspeakers of the authorities.

Based on the provisions of the law, the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An province has drawn up a record to fine the driver of the car who did not yield to the fire police vehicle, with a fine of 2.5 million VND, and at the same time applied an additional penalty, suspending the right to use the driver's license for 2 months.

Previously, at noon on October 4, a clip was circulated on social media recording a fire truck on its way to put out a fire at a scrap warehouse in Nghi Kim commune (Vinh city, Nghe An).
While the car was traveling on Quang Trung Street, Vinh City, while other vehicles were actively giving way, the Lexus car with license plate 38A - 176.36 still brazenly blocked the fire truck.

At this time, the fire police force on the car continuously announced through the loudspeaker, "Please move vehicle 38A - 176.36 to the right side of the road to give way to the fire truck on duty," but the Lexus driver still acted as if nothing had happened.

At the intersection, another driver signaled, the Lexus driver turned to the right at the intersection of Quang Trung and Le Hong Phong streets to let the fire truck do its job.
