Episode 3 of Youth caused controversy with the scene where the character Phong (played by Manh Truong) had fun in a bar on a yacht in the middle of Ha Long Bay. The male character was surrounded by many sexy girls.

It is not difficult for the audience to recognize the intimate scenes of three people, the lesbian kiss between two girls, especially the scene where Phong and his drinking buddy lay on the bare backs of two women lying on the table.

This scene received a lot of harsh criticism on social networks. “Tuoi Thanh Xuan was shown during prime time, a movie for families, including children and teenagers. Yet the film crew allowed such vulgar and easy scenes to exist?” – Facebooker Ngoc Cuong commented.
