50 years of following Uncle Ho's Will

Within the framework of the program "Journey in Uncle Ho's footsteps" towards the 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2019) and 50 years of the entire Party and people implementing his Testament (1969-2019), the exchange night "Youth of agencies and enterprises of provinces and cities meet in Uncle Ho's homeland" attracted a large number of union members and youths across the province to participate.

Also attending the program were representatives of the Standing Committee, the Party Committee Standing Committee and advanced youth delegates of the agency-enterprise bloc from 12 provinces and cities, including Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Tuyen Quang, Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Dien Bien, Hai Duong, Bac Giang, Thanh Hoa, Binh Duong, Quang Binh, Ha Tinh and the host Nghe An.

Looking back on 50 years of Uncle Ho's teachings before his passing, young people in agencies and enterprises always strive and practice to successfully complete the tasks assigned by their agencies and units, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the locality.

Many practical movements and activities have been implemented with a proactive and creative spirit such as: the movement "3 responsibilities", "Good advice, good service", "The delegation participates in administrative reform, performing public duties", "Building culture and civilization in the workplace", "Building new rural areas - civilized urban areas"; undertaking the implementation of thousands of projects, initiatives, and scientific research topics of youth with a total value of thousands of billions of VND; implementing many meaningful programs and activities towards the sacred borders and islands of the Fatherland...

From the movements, more and more typical examples of groups and individuals in studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings have appeared, recognized and commended by all levels and sectors.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Agencies of Nghe An province expressed his deep gratitude to the representatives of the Party Committee and Youth Union of the Agencies - Enterprises of the provinces and cities who participated in the program. He hoped that other provinces would share their experiences, especially in mobilizing and gathering young people in carrying out political tasks, learning good models and good practices in the emulation movement to study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings to improve the fighting capacity of units and grassroots unions in the new situation.

For the Youth Union of Nghe An Agencies and Enterprises, this is an important occasion for union members and youth to once again remember Uncle Ho's teachings. At the same time, it is also an opportunity for the youth in the Bloc to share the difficulties, obstacles and experiences in organizing and implementing the political tasks of the Youth Union, arousing the determination of the youth in the cause of national renewal.

In recent times, the Youth Union of Agencies and Enterprises in the province has creatively and seriously applied the building of ethical standards according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. The grassroots organization of the Youth Union has been gradually consolidated, the sense of responsibility and exemplary behavior of cadres and union members has been raised; many typical young civil servants and public employees have been progressive, creative, dedicated in performing their duties and have matured in many positions in the system.

To promote its role, functions and tasks as a socio-political organization of Vietnamese youth, the Provincial Youth Union of Agencies and Enterprises needs to make more efforts to be more proactive, creative and seriously carry out assigned tasks, becoming a vanguard factor in the emulation movement to study and follow Uncle Ho's teachings./.
