Nghe An youth respond to peak day 'Volunteer soldiers for urban civilization'

This is one of the 5 peak days of activities in the 2022 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign. The program aims to orient provincial and municipal youth unions across the country to promote the spirit of initiative, volunteerism, and creativity in implementing the campaign to ensure effectiveness, practicality, and widespread dissemination among youth and society, promoting on-site volunteer activities to achieve the set targets.

On the peak day of "Volunteer Soldiers for Urban Civilization", many activities were carried out including: Launching "Green Sunday" to clean the environment, remove illegal advertisements, classified ads, illegal billboards, remove black spots for waste, instruct people to throw garbage in the right place, build garbage collection points, give trash cans to people; build flag roads, tree roads, youth flower gardens, "Youth self-management of security and order" roads.

At the same time, effectively maintain teams participating in ensuring order, traffic safety, traffic safety at school gates; handing over children's playgrounds; building digital transformation projects in geographical indications, introducing historical sites, landscapes, and many other meaningful tasks.

In Cua Lo town, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee organized many meaningful response activities such as: Awarding the youth project "Digitizing cultural relics, historical sites of Bau Loi temple and Mai Bang temple"; Presenting a sign to support the construction of the project "Lighting up the power lines" in Yen Son block, Nghi Thuy ward; Presenting trash bins to Nghi Thu ward Youth Union.

In addition, the youth volunteer teams "Community digital transformation and tourism promotion" and response activities were launched: Exchanging scrap for trees; Mobile propaganda on digital transformation and tourism in wards; General environmental cleaning at Bau Loi temple; Painting murals on the road in Nghi Thuy ward; Installing signs for the youth route "Bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe - civilized" in Nghi Thuy ward.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Le Van Luong affirmed that on the journey to build a civilized urban lifestyle, young people must demonstrate the spirit of volunteerism, taking the lead in raising awareness of building a civilized urban lifestyle.
