Youth in Nghe An province mobilize to clear undergrowth.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 14th, at the Hoang Thi Loan Memorial Site, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Provincial Forest Protection Department, organized a cleanup of undergrowth. Participating in the cleanup were 1,000 youth union members from the Nam Dan District Youth Union, the 38th Chemical Battalion - Military Region 4, and the 12th Reconnaissance Battalion - Nghe An Provincial Police.

Participating in the cleanup were 1,000 youth union members from the Nam Dan District Youth Union, the 38th Chemical Battalion - Military Region 4, and the 12th Reconnaissance Battalion - Nghe An Provincial Police.
Specifically, the Nam Dan District Youth Union mobilized 24 youth union branches from the district, towns, and communes, and 18 youth union branches from agencies located within the district. 30 youth union members from the Provincial Youth Union also participated in this campaign.
Youth Union members organized the clearing of undergrowth and the collection of flammable materials from the forest; they also swept and constructed firebreaks over 2000 meters within the special-use forest area at the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, following the map surveyed and marked by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Nam Dan District Youth Union, the Forest Protection Department, and the Nam Dan Protective Forest Management Board.
The ceremony marked the start of the vegetation clearing campaign.
Youth Union members from the 12th Reconnaissance Battalion branch of the Nghe An Provincial Police, in coordination with other branches, participated in clearing undergrowth and constructing firebreaks.
The 38th Chemical Battalion participated in clearing vegetation.
During this campaign, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union hopes that propaganda and volunteer activities in forest fire prevention and control will be carried out regularly, systematically, and in depth, effectively implementing Directive No. 11/2013/CT-UBND dated April 8, 2013, of the Provincial People's Committee on forest fire prevention and control.
Tomorrow, the Youth Union will participate in clearing undergrowth in the special-use forest area near the temple of King Mai Hac De, Nam Dan district.
