Nghe An Youth Union organizes gratitude activities on War Invalids and Martyrs Day
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 24, representatives of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Agencies' Youth Union coordinated with the Provincial Police Youth Union, the Provincial Enterprises' Youth Union, the Provincial Border Guard Youth Union, and the Provincial Military Command's Youth Union to organize many practical activities to celebrate the 74th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2021).

Next, the union members and young people visited, presented gifts, and organized a gratitude program at the Nghe An Mental Health Care Center for War Invalids (Hamlet 9, Nghi Phong Commune, Nghi Loc District). The center is currently treating, caring for, and implementing policies and regimes for 93 people who are wounded, sick soldiers, children of martyrs, and other people with mental illness due to war consequences. Most of the wounded soldiers have psychological and neurological problems and are limited in their ability to function, so the staff must take care of each one individually.
