Nghe An Youth Union launched the 2019 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign

On the morning of July 1, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union - Secretariat of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized a launching ceremony to carry out the peak activities in the "Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2019". The Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is a key activity in the annual work program of the Youth Union and Association at all levels. The Campaign is implemented from June to August 2019, in which July is the peak month for implementing activities in the Campaign to promote the spirit of shock and volunteerism of Nghe An youth in social security activities and volunteering for community life.

The annual Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign has become an indispensable movement for young people, an environment for youth union members to practice, contribute and mature, a place to express the highest aspirations of youth to contribute, with the spirit of volunteering wherever young people are needed, and for any difficult task, young people are available.

At the ceremony, more than 300 union members and young volunteers from universities, colleges and vocational schools in the province, representing 65 provincial youth volunteer teams, came to report to Uncle Ho and held a departure ceremony to participate in the peak activities of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign from July 1 to July 15.

With the motto "Creative - practical - effective - safe", the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee hopes that through the exciting and practical activities in the Youth Volunteer Campaign, each youth union member will turn their volunteer fire into creative and effective actions and work in studying and working, and bring about works bearing the mark of knowledge, strength and enthusiasm of youth.

This year, the Provincial Youth Union chose Chau Hoan commune, Quy Chau district as the provincial-level pilot unit and promoted on-site volunteer teams from all localities.

The young volunteers will bring their youth, enthusiasm and determination to carry out meaningful youth projects and tasks such as: Building rural roads; building power grid systems to light up rural roads; building playgrounds for children; providing free medical examination and treatment for people; training and transferring science and technology; organizing summer cultural and skills training for youth and children participating in Youth Union - Young Pioneer activities in residential areas...
