Tuong Duong has a new Chairman of the District People's Committee.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 26th, the People's Council of Tuong Duong district, 20th term, 2021-2026, held its 8th session to elect a new Chairman of the District People's Committee and to assess the socio-economic, security and defense situation in 2022, setting out directions and tasks for 2023.
At the meeting, the representative of the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Tuong Duong district presented a proposal and resolution on the nomination of personnel for the People's Council of Tuong Duong district to elect an additional Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district for the term 2021 - 2026.
In a democratic and objective manner, the district People's Council delegates proceeded to elect a new Chairman of the District People's Committee as prescribed. As a result, Comrade Dinh Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Tuong Duong District Party Committee - was elected as Chairman of the Tuong Duong District People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term with 100% of the votes.

Previously, on December 12, 2022, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee issued Decision No. 1514-QD/TU on the rotation and appointment of Comrade Dinh Hong Vinh - Deputy Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office - to participate in the Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, and to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Tuong Duong District Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
At this session, the People's Council of Tuong Duong district also carried out the procedure to dismiss Mr. Phan Duc Son from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district and to relieve him of his duties as a member of the People's Council of the district for the 2021-2026 term due to his reassignment and appointment to a new position.

At its 8th session, the People's Council of Tuong Duong district also proceeded to dismiss Mr. Lo Duong Khanh - Chief of the District Party Committee Office and Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - former Head of the Tuong Duong District Police Department, from their positions as members of the District People's Committee.
