Tuong Duong: More than 300 young people participate in summer volunteer campaign

(Baonghean.vn) - More than 300 youth union members of the mountainous district of Tuong Duong volunteered to participate in the 2017 Summer Volunteer Campaign.

On the morning of June 5, at Tam Dinh commune, Tuong Duong District Youth Union launched the 2017 Summer Volunteer Campaign. This year, there were more than 300 youth union members from 18/18 communes and towns, along with affiliated youth unions such as: Police, District Military Command, Government Youth Union, Institute - Court - Enforcement, youth unions of medical centers and banks in the area.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, more than 300 members planted and built protective fences for cherry blossom trees; cleared the flow and cleaned up the Khe Co tourist site in Tam Dinh commune.

On this occasion, Anh Quoc General Trading Joint Stock Company presented 10 gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties and policy families, each gift worth 200,000 VND./.
