Tuong Duong: Launching a campaign to support the "For the Poor" Fund

(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, April 23rd, the Fatherland Front Committee of Tuong Duong district organized a ceremony to launch the fundraising campaign for the "For the Poor" Fund in 2012.

The target for this fundraising campaign, as assigned by the province in 2012, is 350 million VND. Of this amount, the district-level campaign committee aims to raise 250 million VND, and the commune and town-level campaign committees aim to raise 100 million VND.

People participated in supporting the "For the Poor" fund immediately after the launching ceremony.

The implementation period is divided into two phases: Phase 1 starts from the launch date to July 27, 2012, and Phase 2 starts from August 1 to November 30, 2012. The "For the Poor" fund will supplement the budget to support the construction and repair of 36 houses in 2012 and provide assistance to poor households with materials, livestock, seedlings, etc., according to the expenditure categories of the fund.
