It was only when the senior midfielders at Song Lam Nghe An left, in the 2020 season, that the player born in 1996 was called back by his old teacher Quang Truong to strengthen the midfield for the yellow team.

Having gone through many ups and downs at Song Lam Nghe An, but with his determination, Chau has always been recognized by the coaches and given the opportunity to play.
