According to police statistics, in the first 6 months of 2019, 739 cases and 900 suspects were detected, an increase of 73 cases compared to the same period last year. Thus, the number of detected subjects is greater.
"The amount of drugs previously discovered was a few or five cakes, but now it is hundreds of kilograms," said the Provincial Police Director, adding that a new feature in drug cases is the involvement of foreigners.
Currently, the Provincial Police and relevant agencies are strongly advising the Provincial Steering Committee to more effectively combat drug crimes.

The Provincial Police are sending 2 working groups to Laos and will soon advise the Provincial Steering Committee, together with the Provincial Border Guard, to have more fundamental solutions.
