Ukrainian general suspects Russia has a plot to return military ships in Crimea

He cited the example of Germany and Italy planting explosive devices on ships after World War II.
The battleship Novorossiysk in Sevastopol exploded in 1955 due to a German non-contact mine.
According to him, Ukraine must inspect the ships transferred by Russia in Crimea.
"We need to send a professional team there, study the situation and report to the leadership on the technical conditions in order to make a decision whether to accept it or not," Romanenko said.
The former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the VSU is known for his statements and forecasts about Russia.
He once claimed that Moscow was preparing to invade Ukraine with submarines.
