Ukrainian general makes surprising revelation about Russia

The Russian military has significant advantages that complicate the counterattack capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ukrainian Major General Sergey Krivonos said in an interview with Pryamoi TV channel.

“In fact, we are dealing with a powerful country with a strong economy, we are dealing with a large Russian army. The issue is not even the training of the army, although the level of training is quite high, but here we are talking about their numerical superiority,” he said.

According to the general, the Kiev regime is unlikely to achieve its goals.

“I also want our counterattack to be successful, but I look at the situation soberly,” he stressed.

At the same time, the Ukrainian authorities continue to claim that they are about to win, and in case of defeat they will try to blame the military for everything. Krivonos concluded that the Western allies did not deliver the promised amount of equipment, which further complicates the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24, 2022. President Putin called its goal "to protect those who have been subjected to repression and genocide by the Kiev regime for the past eight years." He noted that the special military operation was a forced measure, Russia "has no other options, the security risk has been created to such an extent that it is impossible to respond with other measures."

According to him, Russia has been trying for 30 years to come to terms with NATO on security principles in Europe, but in response it has been met either with cruel deception and lies, or with pressure and blackmail, while the alliance, despite Moscow's objections, has gradually expanded and approached the borders of the Russian Federation.
