Authorities have decided to temporarily ban all traffic on the North-South Expressway section passing through Nghe An province from 1:30 p.m. today (August 25).

The Government Office has just issued Document No. 229/TB-VPCP announcing the conclusion of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha at a meeting on the implementation of research on investment in expanding sections of the North-South expressway in the East according to the scale of the complete expressway.
The longest river-crossing bridge on the North-South expressway

According to the design, Hung Duc Bridge is nearly 4.1 km long, with a total investment value of more than 1,200 billion VND. The project will start construction in 2022 and be completed and put into operation at the end of June 2024. Not only crossing the poetic Lam River, Hung Duc Bridge also spans alluvial plains, dikes, and residential areas.
