Honoring 17 typical religious youth in 2021 in Nghe An

On the afternoon of December 19, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the People's Committee of Cua Lo town to organize the Christmas 2021 - New Year 2022 Program and honor outstanding religious youth of Nghe An province in 2021.

Attending the event were comrade: Pham Thi Hong Toan - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of Cua Lo Town Party Committee andcomrades leading the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department,Religious Affairs Committee, Department of Home Affairs; representative of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee, Secretariat of the Youth Union of Nghe An province;Representatives of the Town Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cua Lo town and representatives of the pastoral council of parishes and sub-parishes in Cua Lo town.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Provincial Youth Union Secretary Le Van Luong affirmed that religious youth forces have made efforts to affirm their position and role as pioneers and volunteers on all fronts in recent times.

Many union members and young people are the core of many youth movements today. In localities, there are many typical examples of religious youth in all areas of social life, many typical examples in youth movements.

Last year, the Covid-19 pandemic had many negative impacts on the organization of activities of the Youth Union and Association, but under the attention of Party committees and authorities at all levels and the enthusiastic participation of union members and young people, many meaningful programs and activities were continued.

Among them, there are many activities to support the construction of sports facilities in areas with a large number of religious people; support religious youth to borrow capital for economic development; organize medical examinations, treatment, and free medicine distribution for people, and organize "Celebrate Christmas - Welcome New Year" programs that attract a large number of people to participate.

From the practical movement, more and more typical examples of young people have emerged in labor, production, study, training and work. Among them, there are 17 outstanding examples of religious youth in various fields, with many positive contributions to the work of the Youth Union - Association at the grassroots level and the youth movement participating in economic, cultural and social development in localities.

At the program, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Youth Union Secretariat decided to support the construction of a playground for children in Block 3, Thu Thuy Ward, Cua Lo Town; presented 6 bicycles to 6 disadvantaged students who have strived to study well and 10 welfare gift bags to 10 disadvantaged families in Cua Lo Town.
