Honoring 3 outstanding projects of the Contest 'Nghe An Youth Startup Ideas and Projects 2017'

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of July 7, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union held an award ceremony for the contest "Nghe An Youth Startup Ideas and Projects 2017".

Evaluated as potential projects, the three ideas of the contestant group have encouraged, motivated, and "ignited" the entrepreneurial spirit of young people.

The group of authors from Vinh University impressed with the products from the project "Business of handmade materials and products". The project was born from the purpose of opening a large store specializing in providing materials for making handicrafts; and training those who want to learn handmade and develop the hidden skills from their hands.

Faced with the current situation of food safety and hygiene being a hot issue in the country, the group of authors Nguyen Kim Ho and Tran Huu Duc have built the project "Linking the production of clean chicken and other livestock and crops along the value chain from production to consumption".

The project aims for clean agriculture. Linking the production of clean chicken and other livestock and crops according to market demand with the distribution and consumption of those products in the form of clean food stores, moving towards opening more restaurants following the "from farm to table" model. The project is committed to contributing to eliminating the problem of dirty food, bringing trust and health to consumers, while developing the local economy, bringing significant income to farmers.

Another excellent project is the "Nghe Tinh Specialty Business" project. With the idea of ​​bringing to consumers specialties imbued with the cultural identity of Nghe people. At the same time, the project also creates connections and consumes agricultural products produced by farmers in big cities. The project is gradually operating as Nghe Tinh Specialty Trading Company Limited.

This project was assessed by the jury as "attractive and has a lot of potential, closely linked to the tourism development orientation of Nghe An province".

The contestants affirmed the confidence, creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and daring to think and act of Nghe An youth. As a result, the Organizing Committee selected 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize, and 2 consolation prizes. The first prize was awarded to the group of authors Nguyen Kim Ho and Tran Huu Duc with the project "Linking the production of clean chicken and other livestock and crops along the value chain from production to consumption". The first prize is worth 20 million VND along with support from the Organizing Committee to implement the project.
