Military Region 4 team won first prize in the Army Cup Volleyball Tournament

(Baonghean.vn) - After 10 days of exciting competition, on the evening of July 30, at the Military Zone 4 gymnasium, the final matches and the Closing Ceremony of the 2017 Open Army Cup Volleyball Tournament took place.

The tournament had 12 men's and women's volleyball teams from units inside and outside the Army, including 5 men's teams: Sanest Khanh Hoa, Trang An Ninh Binh, Border Guard, Military Region 4, Becamex Army Corps 4, The Cong and 5 women's teams: Quang Ninh, PVD Thai Binh, Tien Nong Thanh Hoa, Thong tin Lien Viet Pots Bank, VTV Binh Dien Long An, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietin Bank).

The teams are divided into 2 groups of men and women, each group organizes a round-robin competition to select 4 teams, First, Second, Third, Fourth, to compete in pairs (First place in the group meets Fourth place in the group, Second place in the group meets Third place in the group), the 2 losing teams will meet each other to compete for Third place, the 2 winning teams will meet each other to compete for the First Prize Cup and Flag.

Tournament results, men's team: First prize and the Championship Cup belonged to the Military Region 4 team, Second prize belonged to the Border Guard team, Third prize belonged to Becamex Military Corps 4; women's team: First prize and the Championship Cup belonged to the Lien Viet PostBank Information team, Second prize belonged to the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, Third prize belonged to VTV Binh Dien Long An./.
