Panama player shot dead
Midfielder Amilcar Henriquez, who had 75 caps for the Panama men's football team, was shot dead by a stranger with a gun.
Henriquez was shot multiple times as he left his home in the city of Nuevo Colon, Panama, on April 15. The 33-year-old star died in hospital after being rushed to the emergency room. The killing also injured two other people.

Panamanian President Juan Carlos Varela personally condemned the murder on his Twitter account. The leader also called on the police to quickly investigate and arrest the perpetrator.
He has 75 caps for the national team,Henriquez was one of Panama's most experienced players. Last month, the ill-fated star played in the 1-1 draw with the United States in CONCACAF World Cup qualifying.
Henriquez played for several Colombian clubs including Independiente Medellin, America Cali, Real Cartagena, before returning to his youth club Arabe Unido last year.
"We are deeply saddened by the passing of Amilcar.Henriquez, who has always given his heart to Arabe Unido and the Panama national team," the club said in a statement.Arabe Unido has a paragraph.
