Propaganda on social evils prevention for more than 500 prisoners
(Baonghean.vn) - More than 500 young prisoners at Prison No. 3, Department C10, Ministry of Public Security have had their awareness and understanding of the harmful effects of drugs, infectious diseases and social evils raised.
On the morning of October 25, the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) of Nghe An province coordinated with Prison No. 3, Department C10, Ministry of Public Security to organize the contest "Propaganda on prevention of harmful effects of tobacco, drugs and infectious diseases for prisoners in 2019" in Tan Ky district.

Participating in the contest were 3 teams, representing prisoners from 3 sub-camps and vocational training areas of Prison No. 3 with content on the harmful effects of social evils; propaganda, dissemination and education of laws on: Law on Drug Prevention, HIV/AIDS, Law on Prevention of Tobacco Harms; ways to prevent infectious diseases...
The teams went through the following competitions: greeting, quiz, presentation and propaganda skit through dramatization. At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 encouragement prize and 3 secondary prizes: Best self-introduction, Best presentation, Best propaganda skit to the teams.

The contest was organized with the aim of contributing to raising awareness and understanding among prisoners about the harmful effects of tobacco, drugs, infectious diseases and social evils.

Also on this occasion, the Secretariat of the Youth Union of Nghe An province donated 200 reference books to Prison No. 3 to build a youth bookshelf to build a reading culture among prisoners; thereby improving the spiritual and cultural life, helping prisoners access knowledge, improve their qualifications, and arouse their confidence to reform well and soon return to their families and communities.
