Extensive propaganda on the work of organizing the apparatus of the political system
This is one of the contents emphasized at the National Conference of Central Reporters in April 2025.
On the morning of April 15, the Central Public Security Party Committee coordinated with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission to organize the National Conference of Central Reporters for April 2025 online from the Ministry of Public Security's Conference Hall to the Public Security bridge of provinces and centrally-run cities.
The conference was chaired by comrades: Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Public Security, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Lai Xuan Mon - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission.
The conference focused on the following contents: Information on the topic "80 years of building, fighting and growing of the People's Public Security Forces, 20 years of National Day for National Security Protection" and commemorative activities. Watching a documentary about the tradition of the Vietnam People's Navy; information on the topic "Recent situation of seas and islands; Vietnam's policies and solutions in the coming time".
Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security emphasized: Over 80 years of construction and development, the People's Public Security force has overcome many challenges, achieved many feats, contributing to the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Public Security.
At the same time, it affirmed that in the new situation, the police force continues to take the lead in Party building and rectification; innovate political and ideological education work; streamline the organization, and improve operational efficiency. From March 1, 2025, the Ministry of Public Security will implement a 3-level model, disband 694 district-level police and more than 5,900 professional teams, and at the same time build a team closely attached to the people, "serving the people".
Orienting information, propaganda and concluding the conference, Comrade Lai Xuan Mon - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission requested the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commissions of provincial Party Committees, city Party Committees, and Party Committees directly under the Central Committee; and reporters at all levels to focus on propagating the results of the 11th Central Conference of the 13th tenure, the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly (scheduled to open on May 5, 2025), the work of arranging the political system apparatus, Party congresses at all levels and the visit to Vietnam of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping.
