Propaganda on integrating health insurance cards and driver's licenses into chip-based citizen identification cards

On July 4, 2022, Dien Chau District Police coordinated with Dien Thinh Commune People's Committee to propagate the Project on developing population data applications, electronic identification and authentication to serve national digital transformation in Dien Chau district (Project 06).

With the desire to applyNational population database, electronic identification and authentication system in handling administrative procedures and providing online public services; serving economic and social development; serving population work; perfecting the ecosystem serving connection, exploitation, serving direction and administration of leaders at all levels.

Therefore, the Conference was organized to propagate to union members, youth as well as cadres and teachers in the area, the important links in spreading the practical benefits of the project to all people.

Directing at the conference, comrade Pham Ngoc Hoan - Deputy Head of the District Police clearly stated the tasks that need to be achieved by implementing Project 06 into life, helping citizens' information to gradually be integrated on the CCCD card with electronic chip, along with VNEID applications that will help people use only the CCCD card instead of many other documents to conduct transactions with State agencies, ensuring accuracy and convenience.

At the Conference, the District Police issued electronic identification accounts to citizens who already had CCCD cards, integrating social insurance cards and driver's licenses.

This will help citizens in the future only need to present their CCCD card with electronic chip so that the authorities can easily check the information by reading the QR Code without having to carry many different types of documents.
