Vietnam team is fueled by something special from the fans

However, in the context of the Covid-19 epidemic, to ensure public health safety and limit the risk of disease spreading, spectators will not be allowed to come to the stadium to cheer for the Vietnam National Team.

This is a disadvantage for the audience who cannot witness the competition between the two teams, and at the same time, it is also a disadvantage for the players. However, Vietnamese fans still know how to fuel the fire for Coach Park Hang-seo and his team with very meaningful actions.

After asking permission from the authorities, as well as completing the necessary procedures (RT-PCR test), this morning the Vietnam Football Federation (VFS North) carried the 200m flag²spread out in the D stand of My Dinh stadium, along with the message "Give your all, we are always with you". This could be a dose of "mental doping" from the stands that fans bring, even though they are not allowed to come to the stadium to cheer.

Mr. Phan Dinh Long - Chairman of the VFS Northern Fans' Association shared: "Due to the epidemic situation, spectators are not allowed to enter the stadium, so the Fans' Association cannot directly cheer for the players. However, the enthusiastic fans have tried very hard to do something to fuel the players. After proposing to the Vietnam Football Federation, the Association was allowed by the VFF to bring the flag into the stadium, as well as a banner sending a message of encouragement to the players. Doing this work while the epidemic is complicated is also very difficult. In addition to applying for a travel confirmation, buying items to make banners, and then applying for permission to enter the stadium, the Fans' Association members also had to test negative for RT-PCR. Fortunately, the VFF supported us so much that in the end the work was completed," Mr. Long shared.

The President of the VFS Northern Fans' Association added: "The message the Fans' Association wants to send to the players is that no matter what the circumstances, win or lose, the fans are always by your side, as long as you fight with all your might."

Vietnamese fans cannot come to the stadium, but that does not mean that Mr. Park Hang-seo and his team are abandoned. And believe that those who love Vietnamese football will stand behind Mr. Park's team to give them more strength in this historic match./.
