Harley-Davidson has officially discontinued the Dyna line. For Harley-Davidson lovers, this is a huge loss. The Dyna is not only beautiful but also a great product to "customize". |
NCT workshop has created a masterpiece based on Dyna thanks to a simple but luxurious tuning package. |
NCT is famous for its works such as Ducati 848 cafe racer or BMW R100 transformation. NCT's next product is called "Eleanor". |
Built on the platform of a 2009 Harley-Davidson FXD Dyna Super Glide. The bike was transported from California (USA) to NCT's workshop in Feldkirchen (Austria) to serve the project. |
“We wanted to give the Harley a completely new look, away from the usual styles or colors,” said NCT’s David Widmann. The Dyna was quite old, so the engine was overhauled and the rear frame system was also slightly modified. All of this work was done by engineer Manuel Tilke. |
The subframe only holds a simple blue leather solo seat. The leather is dyed a shade of blue to match the tank emblem and stripes, as well as the brake calipers. The Eleanor uses Brembo brakes up front, and two-piston calipers with the “Eleanor” logo at the rear. |
Eleanor’s fuel tank borrows styling cues from the iconic Harley-Davidson Street. The suspension has been upgraded, with the stock 49mm aluminum forks replaced with Showa upside-down forks and an Ohlins rear shock. |
The highlight of Eleanor is the Akrapovic exhaust system, arranged separately, reaching the rear fender area. The electrical system is also innovated with the Motogadget m.Unit Controller control box, a product that NCT often uses for its custom models. |
In terms of power, the NCT still retains the 1,584 cc engine block for 125 Nm of torque at 3,000 rpm. Eleanor is also equipped with Michelin Power Super Moto tires with sizes 120/70 R17 at the front and 160/60 R17 at the rear. |
