Hoang Mai Town holds closing ceremony for the first Children's Football Tournament.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 29th, at the Quynh Thien Ward stadium, Hoang Mai town, the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town held the closing ceremony of the first Children's Football Tournament in 2014.

First prize, commemorative flag, and championship trophy were awarded to the team from Quynh Lien commune.

The first Hoang Mai Town Children's Football Cup in 2014 took place from July 24th to July 29th, with the participation of over 120 athletes from 10 wards and communes in Hoang Mai Town. The tournament featured 15 exciting matches played by the young players, along with enthusiastic support from a large audience.

At the closing ceremony, the organizing committee awarded the first prize, a commemorative flag, and the championship trophy to Quynh Lien commune, worth 9 million VND; the second prize, worth 5 million VND, was awarded to Quynh Loc commune; the third prize was shared by Quynh Thien and Quynh Phuong teams, each receiving 3 million VND; and the style award went to Quynh Xuan team, worth 2 million VND. The organizing committee also awarded prizes for the best goalkeeper; the top scorer; and the best player. In addition, there were supplementary awards for 10 underprivileged students who played football well, 10 students who participated well in youth group activities and played football well, and 10 students who played football well and excelled academically.
