Hoang Mai District held a training session on the 2012 Cooperative Law.

(Baonghean.vn) -On June 26th, the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town, in coordination with the Provincial Cooperative Union, organized a training conference on the 2012 Cooperative Law and the process of transforming cooperatives for heads of town-level departments and offices, secretaries and chairmen of communes and wards, and cooperative chairmen and heads of cooperative supervisory boards in the town.

Over the course of a day, delegates heard presentations from officials of the Provincial Cooperative Union on the basic contents of the 2012 Law on Cooperatives, including general provisions, members, member cooperatives, establishment and registration of cooperatives, cooperative unions, etc.; Government Decree 193/2013 guiding the implementation of the 2013 Law on Cooperatives, including general provisions, establishment, auction, dissolution of cooperatives, cooperative unions, assets, finances of cooperatives, cooperative unions, state support and preferential policies, etc.; guidance on the process of converting cooperatives according to the Law; guidance on building cooperative charters according to the Law; and the Project on Innovation and Development of Cooperatives in Nghe An Province for the period 2014-2020.

The training course aims to raise awareness and a sense of responsibility among leaders of organizations within the political system, cadres, Party members, and management staff; and members of cooperatives and cooperative groups in implementing the Party and State's policies on the development of the collective economy and cooperatives.
