World USD exchange rate today

The USD Index (DXY) is currently at 106.67, up 1.6% over the past week, breaking above the 106 resistance level and hitting a high of 107.06 before closing the session at 106.68.

US inflation rose, with the CPI rising 2.58% in October from 2.41% in September. The core CPI rose 3.3% from 3.26% the previous month.

Rising inflation could slow the pace of Fed rate cuts, supporting the DXY index higher.

DXY may correct in the short term to 106-105.50 but still has upside potential if it stays above 105.50. DXY may break 107 and move towards 109 in the coming weeks.

The yield on the 10-year US Treasury note remains at 4.44%, with resistance around 4.50% and support in the 4.20-4.15% range. If the yield stays above 4.15%, the short-term trend will be positive, possibly rising above 4.5% and reaching 4.85-4.9% in the coming weeks. If it falls below 4%, the outlook will be negative.

EUR/USD falls below 1.06, with current support at 1.05 and the next important level at 1.04-1.0350. EUR/USD needs to stay above 1.0350 to avoid further declines. A rebound from 1.05 or 1.0350 could see EUR rise to 1.0650-1.07 in the short term. A break below 1.0350 would turn bearish and EUR could return to parity against USD.

Domestic USD exchange rate today

In the domestic market, the State Bank announced the central exchange rate of the Vietnamese Dong to the USD is currently at 24,298 VND.

* The reference exchange rate at the State Bank's transaction office remains unchanged, currently at: 23,400 VND - 25,450 VND.

* The EUR exchange rate at the State Bank's buying and selling exchange center decreased slightly, currently at: 24,312 VND - 26,871 VND.

* The Japanese Yen exchange rate at the State Bank's exchange office for buying and selling has slightly decreased, currently at: 148 VND - 163 VND.
