Japanese Yen Exchange Rateincreased dramatically

Japanese Yen exchange rates surveyed on the morning of December 15 at specific banks are as follows:

At Vietcombank, the buying rate is 166.41 VND/JPY and the selling rate is 176.15 VND/JPY, up 4.53 VND for buying and 4.79 VND for selling. At Vietinbank, the Yen rate increased 5.05 VND for buying and selling, equivalent to 167.50 VND/JPY and 177.20 VND/JPY. At BIDV, the Japanese Yen rate increased 0.72 VND for buying and 0.74 VND for selling, reaching 157.48 VND/JPY and 165.75 VND/JPY, respectively. At Agribank, the buying and selling rates are 158.80 VND/JPY and 163.74 VND/JPY, respectively - up 0.45 VND for buying and 0.48 VND for selling.

At Eximbank, the buying rate increased by 4.55 VND and the selling rate increased by 4.69 VND, respectively, to 163.99 VND/JPY and 168.57 VND/JPY. At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 4.77 VND and the selling rate increased by 4.82 VND, respectively, to 164.52 VND/JPY and 175.56 VND/JPY. At Sacombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 4.36 VND and the selling rate increased by 4.37 VND, respectively, to 168.30 VND/JPY and 174.85 VND/JPY.

According to the survey, today, Eximbank is the bank with the highest buying rate of Japanese Yen and Agribank is the bank with the lowest selling rate among the banks.

USD continues to slide to 101 points

Today, December 15, the VND/USD exchange rate slightly decreased by 9 VND, VCB USD continued to be equal in price. The world USD continued to slide to the 101 point mark.

The central VND/USD exchange rate announced by the State Bank is adjusted to 23,945 VND/USD, down 9 VND compared to the closing price of the trading session on December 14.

Currently, the exchange rate allowed for trading by commercial banks ranges from 23,400 - 25,092 VND/USD. The US Dollar exchange rate has also been brought to the buying and selling range by the State Bank Exchange from 23,400 to 25,092 VND/USD.

The USD exchange rate at banks and domestic foreign exchange rates this morning recorded a series of downward adjustments at banks. Specifically, Vietcombank has a buying price of 24,050 and a selling price of 24,420, maintaining a decrease of 10 VND compared to the trading session on December 14. The current USD buying and selling prices are in the range of 23,400 - 25,300 VND/USD.

Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 58,831 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees).
