Japanese Yen exchange rate skyrocketed

Japanese Yen exchange rate surveyed on the morning of December 29 at banks is as follows:

At Vietcombank, the buying rate of the Japanese Yen is 167.25 VND/JPY and the selling rate is 177.05 VND/JPY, up 1.49 VND for buying and 1.59 VND for selling. At Vietinbank, the buying and selling rates increased by 1.56 VND, equivalent to 168.16 VND/JPY and 177.86 VND/JPY. At BIDV, the buying rate increased by 1.7 VND and the selling rate increased by 1.8 VND, reaching 168.16 VND/JPY and 177.00 VND/JPY, respectively. At Agribank, the buying and selling rates of the Japanese Yen are 169.02 VND/JPY and 174.40 VND/JPY - up 1.69 VND for buying and up 1.78 VND for selling.

At Eximbank, the buying rate increased by 1.38 VND and the selling rate increased by 1.51 VND, respectively, to 169.58 VND/JPY and 174.39 VND/JPY. At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 1.49 VND and the selling rate increased by 1.4 VND, respectively, to 165.46 VND/JPY and 176.51 VND/JPY. At Sacombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate increased by 1.53 VND and the selling rate increased by 1.54 VND, respectively, to 169.73 VND/JPY and 176.32 VND/JPY. At NCB Bank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate was 167.40 VND/JPY and the selling rate was 174.26 VND/JPY (corresponding to an increase of 0.94 VND and the selling rate increased by 0.91 VND).

According to the survey, Sacombank is the bank with the highest buying rate of Japanese Yen and NCB is the bank with the lowest selling rate among the banks.

USD unexpectedly turned around and bounced back

Today, VCB USD sharply decreased by 80 VND in both buying and selling directions, the world USD turned around and increased again thanks to higher US yields.

The central VND/USD exchange rate announced by the State Bank today is adjusted to 23,904 VND/USD, up 19 VND compared to the closing price of the trading session on December 28.

Currently, the exchange rate allowed for trading by commercial banks ranges from 23,400 - 25,049 VND/USD. The US Dollar exchange rate has also been brought to the buying and selling range by the State Bank of Vietnam from 23,400 to 25,049 VND/USD.

Domestic gold reverses shocking decline

Today, domestic gold dropped by more than 5 million VND/tael, fluctuating around 77.5 million VND/tael, while world gold reversed and decreased slightly.

Domestic coffee prices maintain high growth

Domestic coffee prices updated at 4:24 a.m. on December 29 continued to maintain a high increase compared to the previous trading session. Currently, the average coffee price in the Central Highlands provinces is about 68,700 VND/kg.

Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces is at 68,800 VND/kg (up 900 VND/kg); in Dak Nong province, the highest purchase price is 68,9000 VND/kg (up 900 VND/kg).

The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, is purchased at 68,100 VND/kg (an increase of 800 VND/kg).

Today's coffee price in Dak Lak province is purchased at a fairly high level, in Cu M'gar district it is purchased at 68,800 VND/kg, and in Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town it is purchased at the same price of 68,900 VND/kg (an increase of 900 VND/kg).
