98.43% of total voters went to the polls

The Chief of Office of the National Election Council said that as of 10:00 p.m. on May 23, 2021, reports from 44/63 provinces and cities showed that the total number of voters who participated in the vote was about 67,630,011/68,709,092 voters (98.43%).

Voter turnout in many localities across the country reached over 90%.

Updated information from the National Election Council, as of 5:00 p.m., the total number of voters nationwide participating in the vote was 63,312,495 voters (95.84%), of which 32,115 Election Teams had 100% of voters participating in the vote.
Yen Thanh: Voter turnout rate reached over 95%

Nghe An: By 5:00 p.m., voter turnout reached over 92%

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 22, the election atmosphere at 3,788 polling stations across the province took place safely, democratically and in accordance with the law, with a high voter turnout rate. As of 5 p.m. the same day, over 92% of voters on the list in the province had finished voting.
