Billionaire Jack Ma arrives in Da Nang to attend APEC conference

Billionaire Jack Ma - Executive Chairman of Alibaba - the world's largest e-commerce group will arrive in Vietnam on November 6 to attend the APEC Summit Week in Da Nang. Before arriving in Da Nang to attend the official APEC events, Jack Ma also had some important sideline activities in Hanoi.
Specifically, the Chinese billionaire will participate in the Vietnam Electronic Payment Forum (VEPF 2017) held on the morning of November 6. At this event, Jack Ma will have a dialogue and share his experience in developing electronic payments in e-commerce as well as the globalization story of the Alibaba e-commerce platform.
In the afternoon of the same day, the billionaire will have a talk with students in Hanoi to inspire the spirit and ambition of young Vietnamese people. After that, the Alibaba boss will fly to Da Nang and officially enter the important events of APEC.
Jack Ma was born in 1964 in Hangzhou, China. He was an English teacher before co-founding e-commerce company Alibaba in 1999. The company's revenue for the 12 months ending in March was $23 billion. Alibaba listed in New York in 2014 and was the world's largest IPO at the time. In addition to e-commerce, Alibaba operates in financial services, online payments, cloud computing, logistics and feature films.
