Not Mr. Duc or Mr. Hien, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong is the one who was just listed by Goal newspaper as one of the richest businessmen in Asia investing in football.

Specifically, Goal has just released a list of "11 Asian football-crazy tycoons". This list does not rank the richest billionaires in Asia in any particular order.

Vietnam has one representative present. That person is not a familiar boss like Mr. Hien or Mr. Duc but billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vingroup Corporation.

In the listing section, Goal newspaper introduced quite briefly: "Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong and his company own the PVF Football Training Center".

Along with billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, the list of 11 billionaires mentioned by Goal includes those who own famous clubs in Europe such as Sheikh Mansour (Man City), Zhang Jindong (Inter Milan), Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha (Leicester City), Farhad Moshiri (Everton) or Vincent Tan (Cardiff City).

Notably, in terms of assets, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong is superior to some of the tycoons who own the famous clubs mentioned above. As of September 25, 2018, according to Forbes, Mr. Vuong's total assets amounted to 6.4 billion USD.

Meanwhile, Thai billionaire Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, owner of Leicester City FC, owns assets worth 5 billion USD. The owner of the famous English club Everton - Iranian billionaire Farhad Moshiri "only" owns 1.8 billion USD...

Currently, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's PVF Youth Football Training Center is considered one of the centers with the most modern facilities in Southeast Asia.

In 2018, billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong's Vingroup Corporation was also the co-sponsor of copyright purchase for two tournaments, the World Cup Finals and the 2018 Asiad, in the context that television stations in Vietnam encountered many difficulties in negotiating due to price issues.
