The same goes for the U21 SLNA team, after the championship in 2014 with the current generation of players in the first team, the U21 SLNA could only win a bronze medal in 2017 when Phan Van Duc and Pham Xuan Manh were in the squad.

That shows that the input work of the Nghe An football team has done very well, right from the opening of 21 private vocational classes in districts, towns and cities across the province. After consecutive championships in the youth tournaments for children and youth, SLNA really needs a long-term plan for the team's development. SLNA's tradition room no longer has room to place the championship trophies. Literally, SLNA needs to rebuild a larger, more spacious tradition room or build more standard training grounds. But figuratively, there also needs to be a longer-term plan and planning in the future so that from this development momentum, the chain will not be broken in the coming years until the young players become professional players.
