Entering the quarter-finals, U11 SLNA met Thang Long FC, a newly established team that did not have much depth in terms of players. As predicted by experts, U11 Nghe An entered the match with confidence, imposing their entire style of play on their opponents. And less than 2 minutes after the opening whistle, U11 SLNA scored the first goal. The goal belonged to Bao Hoan. The captain of U11 Nghe An pushed the ball past the opponent's defender and then unleashed a powerful shot to defeat the goalkeeper of Thang Long FC. Not stopping there, less than 1 minute later, Long Nguyen continued to score to double the gap for U11 SLNA. Starting from a shot by his teammate, the goalkeeper of Thang Long FC failed to catch the ball, allowing the striker wearing the number 7 shirt to tap the ball close to the goal, raising the score to 2-0 for the Nghe An team.
The more U11 SLNA played, the more they showed that they were a superior team in every aspect. Although many key players were withdrawn, at the end of the match, coach Duc Anh's team still won convincingly with a huge score of 8-2.
This result helped U11 SLNA win a ticket to the semi-finals, with a perfect record since the beginning of the tournament.
