U13 Song Lam Nghe An falls into the 'death' group at the 2025 National U13 Tournament Finals
On the afternoon of July 2, in Thu Dau Mot City (HCMC), the press conference and the draw ceremony for the Final Round of the Yamaha Cup 2025 National U13 Youth Football Tournament officially took place. The event was jointly organized by the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper, the Vietnam Football Federation and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of HCMC.

This year’s tournament brings together the 16 best teams in the country, who have qualified in three regions. In the final round, the teams are divided into four groups, playing a round robin. The top two teams in each group will advance to the quarterfinals.
According to the results of the draw,U13 Song Lam Nghe Anfell into an extremely difficult group when having to compete with three strong teams: U13 PVF, U13 Binh Duong and U13 Becamex Binh Duong. This is called the "group of death" by experts, because all three opponents are well-invested, have high professional quality and possess home field advantage.
Among them, U13 PVF is a formidable name with a balanced force, rich in potential and the most systematic training system in the country. The two representatives of the host Binh Duong are also not far behind when they are considered strong candidates for a ticket to the group stage.

U13 Song Lam Nghe An will open the Finals campaign with a match against U13 PVF on July 3. This is considered a key match, with decisive significance for the ticket to the next round of coach Nguyen Van Vinh and his team.
With a tradition of training young people that is famous throughout the country, U13 Song Lam Nghe An will certainly not easily give up, even though they are in a difficult group. The young players from Nghe An are expected to continue to show their fiery fighting spirit and effective playing style to overcome challenges, aiming to go deep in the tournament.
