U15 Song Lam Nghe An won a big victory in the opening match of the National U15
(Baonghean.vn) - U15 Song Lam Nghe An won 4-0 against U15 Dong Thap on the opening day of the 2022 National U15 Football Tournament Finals.
The 2022 National U15 Finals have 12 participating teams. Through the draw results, Group A includes: Host Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Can Tho; Group B includes Dong Thap, Song Lam Nghe An, Hanoi and Nam Dinh; Group C includes PVF, Viettel, Dak Lak and Long An.
The teams will compete in a round robin to determine the two teams with the highest scores in each group, along with the two third-placed teams with the highest results, to enter the quarter-finals.

According to experts, Group B is a group of death with the presence of Song Lam Nghe An, Dong Thap and Hanoi. Dong Thap has shown its superior strength, when they finished the qualifying round without losing any match and won the first place in Group F. Meanwhile, Hanoi is also a highly rated team, when they won 17 points in Group A. Therefore, to pass the group stage is not easy for Dinh Van Dung and his team.
The opening match of U15 Song Lam Nghe An in the final round will be against the team considered the strongest in the group - Dong Thap. However, U15 Nghe An entered the match with confidence and completely dominated the opponent. In this match, Coach Dinh Van Dung used a 4-1-4-1 formation. And that way of playing was effective when the two wings of Song Lam Nghe An created highly unpredictable coordination. But it was not until the 34th minute that Nguyen Quang Lam opened the score of the match. The goal came from a cross from the right wing, the ball was returned by the striker of Song Lam Nghe An with his head, for Quang Lam to shoot a tricky shot, defeating the Dong Thap goalkeeper.
In the second half, U15 Nghe An continued to maintain pressure on the opponent's field and scored 3 more goals. The goals were scored by Vuong Van Tung, minute 61; Truong Van Tan Sang, minute 68; Phan Trung Quan, minute 91.
Final result: U15 Song Lam Nghe An won 4-0 on the opening day of the 2022 National U15 Football Tournament Finals.
In this match, Nguyen Quang Lam of Nghe An U15 was voted the best player of the match.
On August 10, U15 Song Lam Nghe An will play the second match in Group B, against U15 Nam Dinh.
