U17 Song Lam Nghe An is present in Hue to play in the 2019 National U17 qualifying round
(Baonghean.vn) - Coach Le Manh Huy and his team arrived in the ancient capital of Hue to prepare for the matches in Group B of the 2019 National U17 qualifying round, hosted by the Hue Football Team.
In the SLNA U17 Coaching Board, in addition to captain Le Manh Huy, there are also 3 assistants: Le Manh Hung, Le Ky Dai and Tran Quang Dung.
The U17 SLNA squad includes players who won the runner-up position in last year's tournament such as Phan Ba Quyen, Ngo Quang Thuan, Hoang Van Thong...

Deputy coach Le Manh Hung shared: "Although the U17 SLNA team this year is of equal quality, achieving the goal of passing the qualifying round is not simple, because the remaining opponents are also very formidable."
In Group B of the 2019 National U17 Qualifiers, U17 SLNA will face the host team U17 Hue, U17 DNH Nam Dinh, U17 SHB Da Nang and U17 Thanh Hoa. The teams will compete in a round-robin of 2 matches (home and away) to find the team that finishes first in the group (gets a direct ticket) and the team that finishes second in the group (compared to the second-placed teams in other groups).
If the host team of the finals is one of the 7 teams (5 group winners and 2 best second-placed teams), the 8th spot will belong to the second-placed team with the 3rd best record. Thus, at this point, it is unknown whether there will be 2 or 3 second-placed teams participating in the 2019 National U19 Finals.
As planned, the matches in the 2019 National U19 Qualifying Round B will take place at Tu Do Stadium from June 1 to 22.
