U18 Vietnam actively practices to prepare for the continental dream
Under coach Hoang Anh Tuan, U18 Vietnam had their first training session on the afternoon of April 8 and is ready to aim for the continental dream once again.

On the afternoon of April 8, U18 Vietnam entered its first training session under the direction of head coach Hoang Anh Tuan. This is the first training session of this generation of players, gathering those born from January 1, 2001 to present. |

Head coach Hoang Anh Tuan is the leader of this generation. This is the third consecutive time Mr. Tuan has led the Vietnam U18/U19 team. Mr. Tuan's two previous teams both won tickets to the U19 Asian finals, in which Quang Hai's generation is now the leader of Vietnamese football. |

Along with Technical Director Jurgen Gede, the duo who brought U20 Vietnam to the first Youth World Cup in history are expected to continue helping Vietnamese football dream of the continent. In the last 5 U19 Asian finals, Vietnamese football has had representatives participating. |

Captain Vu Tien Long was once a character in the scandal of threatening to cut his leg tendons at the 2017 National U15 tournament. However, that is an old story. Tien Long is making great progress, captaining the Vietnam U18 team at the international U18 tournament in Nha Trang. |

“Little Cong Phuong” Pham Xuan Tao is also a notable name. He is the next bright young talent of Hai Duong football but is currently playing for Da Nang. Xuan Tao was the best player of the tournament, the top scorer and the only one to score the goal that helped the U19 Vietnam team beat Thailand and win the tournament. He has not yet fully recovered from his injury and is currently training separately. |

Vietnam U18 will have about 10 days of training before leaving for Hong Kong (China) to participate in the 2019 International U18 Tournament. The tournament will take place from April 19 to April 22, with 4 U18 teams including Vietnam, Myanmar, Singapore and host Hong Kong (China). The goal of this year's U18 team is the 2019 Southeast Asian U18 Tournament in Vietnam and the 2020 Asian U19 qualifiers. |
